Pronto’s quality control process is part of our quality assurance system for precision wire products. Our quality control engineers have developed systems to ensure that our steel wire and metal products meet or exceed customer specifications. Our quality control system starts with the raw materials that we purchase and continues throughout our entire manufacturing process. Every step requires different quality control checkpoints and procedures to ensure that we are manufacturing quality metal products.
Checkpoints
Develop QC checkpoints for each step of the manufacturing process.
Training
Train our QC inspectors on what to look for and how to test to ensure quality metal fabrication at each step.
Inspection
Carry out the execution of the inspections. Document and address corrective actions.
Quality Control Process
Our quality control process is focused on Product Quality, one of the three pillars of our process. The other two, People Quality, and Process Quality, fall under the domain of our quality assurance engineers. Quality wire products, and quality metal fabrication in general, require a focus on raw materials, sub-assemblies, and fixtures.
Raw Materials
We vet our vendors and then test raw material deliveries to ensure that we are starting the process with quality to raw materials.
Sub Assemblies
Sub assemblies are the building blocks for quality metal products. We review each steel wire form or metal part to ensure compliance.
Fixtures
Our QC engineers are involved in designing our fixtures to ensure that critical dimensions are accounted for.
