table caddies in addition to our standard lines. Simply

Our
History
In 1959, Jim Jimenez, sales manager of a leading heavy-duty equipment
manufacturer to the Mexican food industry, acquired the patents
for the taco shell basket, tostada basket, and the taco rail. At
the time, the owners of Jim’s firm did not see a reason to
continue to offer the lines, however, Jim saw the opportunity and
purchased the patents himself. He began marketing, packaging and
shipping these products under the name Pronto Products Company.
By 1962,
Jim had established Pronto Products Company as an equipment manufacturing
business targeted to the Mexican food industry. About ten years
later, to serve the demands of restaurant chains for Mexican cuisine,
the Jimenez family converted a small retail store into a factory.
Pronto Products Company continues to thrive as a family owned operation.
Our line of products has grown to over 75 items, ranging from our
familiar Mexican food products to our specialty custom products.
We maintain a modern manufacturing facility, and reach foodservice
markets through a network of manufacturer
representatives as well as sales channels and events across
restaurant, university, business & industry and other segments.

Memberships
Pronto Products Company is an active member of the North American
Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM), and an associate
member of the Manufacturers’ Agents for the Food Industry (MAFSI).
Our Logo
The Mexican runner boy, who has been our visual symbol since 1959,
serves as a reminder that we must race toward the future and expand
our product lines to anticipate and meet the demands of our fast
paced industry.
