Our History
In 1959, Jimmy Jimenez acquired the patents for several Mexican cookware products. He had a vision of innovative products that would revolutionize how restaurants operated. This lead to the opening of Pronto Products Company.
By 1962, Jimmy had established Pronto as a well-known equipment manufacturing business targeted at the food industry. About ten years later, to serve the demands of restaurant chains, operations were expanded, and the first Pronto factory was opened. The Pronto product line grew to over 75 items, ranging from the original products (which are still used by many restaurants today) to custom designed products for large restaurant chains.
Today, Pronto provides custom products to virtually all of the top quick service and fast casual restaurants in the United States. Pronto also provides food service solutions for various school districts, universities and other institutional clients. The Pronto catalog now includes products for all different types of restaurants.
